Who's behind Boost
I'm Matthew Agius, a designer based in Mosta. I studied interactive media (BA Hons Interactive Media) and I've worked on interactive ads, banners, video, motion graphics and 3D. I also run RedSec Games, my own independent game studio.
Today I work as an interactive designer in Malta. With Boost, I help local businesses look good online without paying agency prices.
From Boost Media Malta to Boost AI Malta
Boost started as Boost Media Malta, my earlier brand covering media, web and technology. Boost AI Malta brings it back with a new way of working. The tools have changed a lot, and AI now handles much of the slow work that used to take days.
The aim hasn't changed. Make it easy and affordable for a Maltese business to get found, get messages and look professional.
How we work
Every project starts with a short brief. You tell us what you need, what kind of business you run, how often things change and how to reach you. It goes straight to WhatsApp, and we reply within 1 working day.
- AI does the heavy lifting: layout drafts, copy drafts and code.
- A real designer shapes every page so it fits your business and doesn't look like a template.
- We set up the practical bits Maltese customers use: WhatsApp and Google Maps buttons, and your Google Business Profile.
- Your domain is registered in your name. No lock-in contract.
Why our prices are low
Building a website used to mean days of drafting layouts, writing text and coding by hand. AI now handles much of that first pass. The design work, the checking and the decisions still come from a person, but there's far less of the slow part.
There's also no big office, no sales team and no account managers to pay for. That's how a designed 3-page site can cost €150 once, with domain, hosting and SSL from €60 a year after launch.
