Planning around the summer season
Gozo gets busy in summer and goes quiet in winter. Many visitors come over on the ferry from Ċirkewwa to Mġarr, and many start looking for food, rooms and things to do on their phones before they've even docked.
That makes the quieter months the best time to sort out a website. If it's live before the season starts, Google has time to pick it up, and you're not trying to answer emails about photos while the place is full.
Working together without crossing the channel
We're based in Mosta, so most of our Gozo work happens over WhatsApp. You don't need to take the ferry to see us, and there's nothing to wait for before getting started. You send photos, prices and opening hours from your phone, and we send drafts back that you can check on yours.
If you need photos of the place, you can take them on your phone and we'll tell you which shots work best. Anything we need to check, we check with you on a quick call, and you can approve each change from wherever you are.
Visitors search in English
Tourists looking for dinner in Victoria, which locals still call Rabat, or a room near Marsalforn or Xlendi, search in English and usually check Google Maps first. They want hours, a map pin, prices and a quick way to ask a question.
Your site and your Google Business Profile should give them all of that in a few taps. People who live in Gozo find businesses on the same map, so it helps with locals too.
Who we build for in Gozo
If your business depends on visitors, a WhatsApp button matters more than most things on the page. Someone sitting at the Citadel deciding where to eat won't fill in a long form.
- Guesthouses, farmhouses and holiday lets that want more direct enquiries
- Restaurants and cafés in Victoria and the coastal villages
- Dive centres, boat trips and tour operators
- Shops and trades serving the people who live on the island all year
What €150 covers, and what costs extra
The €150 covers a consultation and brief review, up to 3 pages, a layout that works on any screen, WhatsApp and Google Maps buttons, your Google Business Profile, and a domain registered in your name.
Online booking, an online shop or extra pages are quoted after a chat, and the yearly renewal and the cost of later changes are on the full price list. If your offers change every week through the summer, ongoing monthly care may suit you better, priced after a free call.
