How clients look for a contractor
Someone buying a shell in Mosta or renovating a house in Gozo doesn't search for your company name. They search for the job: "turnkey finishing Malta", "plastering contractor", "project management Gozo". Then they look at photos and decide who to call.
So a contractor website has two jobs. Show up for the work you actually do, and prove you can do it with real photos of finished projects.
One page per service
A single page that lists everything you do is hard for Google to understand. A page for each main service, written about that service, gives each one a fair chance of being found.
That might mean separate pages for turnkey projects, renovations, finishing works, project management and maintenance. Each one explains what's included, how the job runs and how to get a quote. The €150 site covers up to 3 pages, and extra service pages are quoted.
- A page per trade or service you want to win more of
- Plain explanation of each step, from site visit to handover
- Clear quote request on every page, by WhatsApp or form
- Mention of the areas you cover in Malta and Gozo
Project galleries that do the selling
In construction, photos win jobs. Before and after shots, finished kitchens, facades, staircases, the details you're proud of. We set up galleries that load quickly on a phone and can be grouped by type of work.
Adding new projects later is a small change, from €25, or part of ongoing care if you finish jobs often.
Real work: YPS Malta
YPS Malta is a construction and turnkey project management company working across Malta and Gozo. We built their website, set up their business email and wrote local SEO service pages so each of their services has its own page to be found on.
It's a good example of the approach above: a clear site, a page per service and an easy way for clients to get in touch. You can see it with our other projects on the work page.
Covering Malta and Gozo
If you work on both islands, say so clearly. Clients in Gozo often want to know if a contractor will actually come over, and Malta clients want to know you cover their locality. We mention the areas you serve on your service pages and in your Google Business Profile, which is set up as part of the €150 site.
Our Gozo web design page covers more on working with businesses there.
